Wonderful expressions tutorial out right now: :thumb193978013: I am such an abuser of smarm brow! Most recently scrawled on a picture of Adonis, really it's a habit I ought to get out of. Excellent tutorial, not so much in the "how to" section (unless you draw a lot of cats), but very thoughtful on things to consider, and good places to start learning.

So for some reason or another I've been on an Elfquest kick: re-reading classic stories online from the digital archive here. For the curious, this series was a classic in fantasy stories: first published before I was born in 1978, the storyline focuses around tribes of elves on a world with two moons, elves who are to say the least, significantly different from the typical lighthearted elves you'd see in most media. I got into the series back in the 1990s, reading through volumes at the library at a time when I probably wasn't old enough to be reading them; more proof that whoever assumes "comic" must belong in "children's section" clearly n

Decided to go ahead and try premium accounts; the price was too good to pass up. Already I like the expanded browsing capabilities, and I expect to be playing around with other features for a while... as if my time wasn't busy enough already! DA just got that much more addictive. B-)
