Still alive, although you wouldn’t know it from this gallery: I moved in January and haven’t had any luck with my sketchbook ever since. It’s not that I don’t want to draw: I still get plenty of ideas, and constantly pick up my sketchbook to try. It’s just that for some unknown reason I can’t: I look at the blank page, get a few lines in, and can’t pull it together. I’d say artist’s block, but that would suggest a lack of inspiration: rather, I just can’t seem to get anything on paper or on my laptop’s screen, an irritation to say the least. As far as why that is… eh, I have a few suspicions, but nothing that could really change anything.

The catch is I have no idea when I’ll get something up in the future: I might luck out, walk away from this journal entry, and get something up next week, or I might walk away from this journal entry, remain in a blank and not get anything up for months yet. I know that come August my life will be getting very busy, very fast, although that could be a good thing- sometimes when things are busy in my life I’m also more productive in my creative process. If nothing else, I know there will be something added to this account by the end of the summer… but more on that in a month or so.

Meantime, I'll continue to enjoy the art of those of you who are so much more talented than me. There's a lot of you with epic galleries; rest assured even if I don't leave a sign of my passing you should know you rock.

And in other news…

Anyone catching the preview/opening of “Stoked” on Teletoon tomorrow? I’m obviously out of the show’s target age group, so count me among the “older viewers”, but Fresh TV has won me over with 6Teen & and their Total Drama franchise.

Now if we could just get Studio B. to pick up Class of the Titans for a third season all would be well.
